Family/Children's Class
This course will be held in two parts. Part one for adults only. Part two is designed for the children, with adult interaction.
Both courses are instructor led.
These two courses will usually be held one week apart.
Adult Portion
The adult section of the course requires a fee to be paid based on the number of adults in attendance.
Part one is for adults only, no children to be in attendance.
During part one of the course we will be looking at DEVELOPING A PERSONAL AND HOME PROTECTION PLAN and GEAR AND GADGETS. This component is designed to give insight and foresight to Parents/Guardians/Responsible adults who have responsibility for child safety, whether this be full-time, part-time or even as occasional visitors.
Part one. Will be 2 1/2 hours in length. Again I would like to reiterate... Adults only, NO children to be in attendance.
During this class we will be featuring basic firearms safety and home defense Fundamentals, both aspects are designed to provide education to assist you in protecting your family.
Children's Portion with Adult Interaction
The children's section of the course is without cost, but only after the adult course has been completed.
Part two is aimed specifically for children, but have no fear adult interaction is required.
Please note: one child's place is allocated per each adult place completed, IF there are additional places required for additional children a small fee will be required to cover the cost of the course materials and certificate etc. If extra children's places are required, Please email me once the adult places have been confirmed. PLEASE NOTE...this is not a play session, it is a working classroom. NO CHILD CARE IS PROVIDED. AN ADULT MUST ACCOMPANY THE CHILDREN YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR.
The second part of the program has been designed by the NRA using age appropriate worksheet, kindergarten through to year 4, along with an accompanying video and maybe even a surprise visitor... time will tell😉
The purpose of the children's program is to install in the hearts and minds of our younger members, basic safety protocols on what to do or not to do if the child encounters a firearm.
